My Journey

I started this channel with the intent of providing Canadians with an honest, accessible and transparent look at how to build long-lasting wealth.

 

It’s not easy to get started, especially in this rapidly-changing economic climate. And it’s long been held that to succeed in real estate investing, you have to have either a full-time job with a large salary and lots of time to invest or come from a wealthier socio-economic background.

But believe me - with the right data, training and direction, it IS possible to succeed. I’m living proof: I began investing in real estate while in university. I grew up in a family with zero financial support once completing high school. I paid my own way through university by juggling multiple jobs while carrying a full-time course load. There were ups and downs, but I kept working towards the end goal of financial independence.

I saw the opportunity in every dollar I saved. As I worked, I saved up as much as I could during so I could invest in my first property. From there, one turned to two, which soon turned to four. I eventually got my real estate license so I could be more in charge of my dealings and investments.
